EBT Heart Scan
This is the only-proven method to detect early coronary disease at a time when-treatment can be most successful. The ten-minute heart scan is read and interpreted by a board-certified radiologist, and a calcium score — a measurement of calcified plaque within the heart and coronary arteries — is calculated.

According to the American Heart Association, the calcium score by EBT imaging is the most powerful predictor of future coronary events.

Lung Scan
This test is used to detect early signs of lung disease and cancer at a stage when treatment can be most successful. Highly recommended for current and former smokers, or those regularly exposed to second-hand smoke. It’s a far better alternative than a-chest X-ray for detecting lung cancer.

The lung scan also looks for obstructive disease, such as emphysema and chronic bronchitis, as well as nodules and masses. Whether benign or malignant, these masses need to be followed for changes in size or referred to a specialist. In addition, the lung scan can identify Pleural disease (e.g. asbestos exposure), hiatal hernias, thoracic spine abnormalities and other conditions.

Virtual Colonoscopy
This test is an exciting alternative to invasive colonoscopy, which requires heavy sedation and the insertion of a five-foot scope. Virtual Colonoscopy is fast (15-20 minutes), accurate (can visualize 100% of the colon), and does not require recovery in a hospital. In fact, you can resume normal activities immediately following the test.

Virtual Colonoscopy is ideal for persons reluctant to undergo the traditional procedure. It can be used as a repeat exam for those who have previously had a normal Colonoscopy. Those who are frail, elderly or on anticoagulant medication can also benefit from the noninvasive test, and those without insurance coverage will find Virtual Colonoscopy costs less than the traditional procedure.

Body Scan
The body scan includes the heart scan, chest/lung scan and an abdominal/pelvic scan. A board-certified radiologist will create a comprehensive report, covering such areas as the heart and coronary arteries, thorax, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys, bladder and major abdominal vessels. For women, the test also looks at the ovaries and uterus. The body scan is the most complete test to look at the majority of major organs and vessels inside your body. Electron Beam Angiography
This minimally invasive coronary angiography accurately visualizes coronary arteries. It is an alternative to cardiac catheterization, which requires a plastic tube to be inserted into the aorta and coronary artery openings. EBA is used as a diagnostic tool for patients with certain types of chest symptoms or a failed stress test. In addition, it can be used for patients who have coronary stents or bypass grafts to verify that the arteries are still open and functioning properly.

The detailed images EBA creates enable a radiologist or cardiologist to examine the coronary arteries from multiple perspectives to ensure greater accuracy. The entire procedure takes only 20 minutes, the patient can return to normal activities immediately and it is significantly less expensive than catheterization.
